Emmabella's Believers was formed when 5 year old Emmabella was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on October 10, 2006.  Emmabella's family quickly discovered that Type 1 Diabetes is commonly misunderstood, by the majority of the public. It became their mission to educate and bring about awareness for this devastating disease that is very difficult to manage.  Forty children are diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes everyday in this country. The symptoms of this disease are very subtle, and if not diagnosed in time, the complications are fatal. Emmabella's Believers is a group of supporters who are dedicated to raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes, and funds for JDRF to ultimately cure Type 1 Diabetes.  Emmabella's Believers has raised $100,000 for JDRF in the last seven years.
